I. How to Complete: Personal Learning Projects (PLPs) and Practice Reflection Exercises (PREs)

This Educational Aid Series is designed to help you find and organize the key words and expert opinion you need to create your own PLP/PRE.

Family physicians will be eligible to submit their PREs for Mainpro® Program Accreditation by The College of Family Physicians of Canada, the Quebec College of Family Physicians, and their accredited providers.

Specialists will be eligible to submit their PLPs through the Web for Section 4 CPD Program Accreditation by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and their accredited providers.

You can use the CTC Holding File to resume work on your PLP should be you be interrupted or until you are ready for submission. Step 7: Be sure to save your CTC Holding File so you do not lose any work.

Use the select, copy and paste method to copy these phrases and paragraphs into your CTC Holding File, which can then be formulated into report format for submission directly to the accrediting body.

II. Conference Proceedings

Medical Conference Proceedings summarize and reflect highlights from material presented. These proceedings from major conferences are reviewed by an external board of medical reviewers before distribution to the professional audience.

This material can be used as an excellent resource for your PLP or PRE. Use the select, copy and paste method to use those sections that you find can be adapted to improve your practice.

Copy these phrases and paragraphs into your CTC Holding File, which can then be formulated into report format for transfer to the accrediting body.

III. Medical Publications

These include significant journal articles, supplements, and web-based educational material.

This material can be used as an excellent resource for your PLP or PRE.
